Nelles, Brooke Charles Lionel

June 5th, 2016

Quietly in his sleep on Sunday, June 5th, 2016 at Victoria Hospital in his 66th year. He left us as he lived:  with peace and dignity. Beloved son of the late Mary and Archdeacon Lionel Nelles. Cherished brother of Dr. Ruth Nelles Fink (Paul). Loving uncle to Ashley Carra (Daniel) and Thomas Fink. Proud great-uncle to Emma Carra. His loss is also mourned by his forever friend, Donna Lamb-Gunness and his step-daughters Catharine Veinot (Sam) and Brittany Veinot (Dave). Predeceased by his niece Mary Claire Fink. Brooke was a Master bridge player, a veteran of many North American bridge tournaments and contributed greatly to the London bridge community, as well as the ‘London Bridge Centre’. The family would like to thank the entire Oncology Department at London Health Sciences Centre, especially Dr. Winquist and staff for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
