Book of Condolences

Sheila ChickI would like to express my sincere condolences to Betty's family and dear friends, but also to give thanks for Betty's long and wonderful life. We were colleagues teaching ESL at Fanshawe College many years ago and I so clearly remember Betty's ability to sketch a scenario or an item or article of clothing to show a newcomer what she was talking about. I am sure many of us still have handouts with her work on them. She was a generous, caring, and creative person with a great sense of humour. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Betty!
Ann McGregorBetty was one of a kind! I was always amazed at her creativity and skills - knitting ( of which my baby girls were grateful recipients!) paper tole, painting, drawing, and making china dolls. I recall many fun conversations with Betty - she always made me smile with her wit and wry comments. 3919My sincerest condolences to all of you at this sad time.
May Lee-JarvisI worked with Betty many years ago and she was very kind to me, giving me rides home and lending me books. She was sweet to everyone, creative, gentle and a lot of fun. The world has lost a special lady.
