Peacefully, surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 29, 2015, George English, of London in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Betty English for 64 wonderful years. Loving dad of Mary-Ellen (Phil) Lewis, Steve (Loretta) English, Kim (Dennis) Burt, Randy (Brenda) English and New (Traci) English. Dear brother of Pudge Phillips and Marilyn Lacourse. Adored Poppa of 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Don and Chuck English, and sister Donna Bardawell. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider KidSport Canada.

Mark LiddleOn behalf of myself, Roger, and the rest of the staff at Carson Supply, we were saddened to hear of George's passing. It was always a pleasure spending some time catching up with him when he'd stop in to see us in Port Elgin. He will be missed.
