MacLean, John Herbert "Jack"

MACLEAN, John Herbert (Jack) – Peacefully in London on Thursday, August 19th, 2010, John Herbert MacLean passed away in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Bernadine (Deanie) of 64 years.  Loving father of Donna Mundey (Lorne), Jacqueline Lavallee (Pierre), Joan Shapcott (George), Rick MacLean and Ron MacLean (Shelley).  John is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters Anna Rogers of Ottawa and Effie MacLean of Montreal and sister-in-law Josephine Binet (John).  Jack was an avid golfer and a veteran of World War II serving in the RCAF as a Sgt. Air Gunner.  A private memorial service will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel.  The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at 4B West Parkwood Hospital for their caring and compassion.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider the Parkwood Hospital Foundation Veterans Affairs.
